The practical difference

Onze documentatie beschrijft instellingen voor Synology, QNAP en Linux. We introduced this change after reviewing common support requests and watching how small teams actually organise their work. The aim is fewer surprises and a clearer route back when something changes unexpectedly.

Existing settings remain valid. New workspaces use the improved behaviour by default; administrators can review the relevant policy before enabling it for older collections.

What to check

Open your workspace settings and confirm that the right people own the collection. Run a small test with a non-critical folder, then review the result in the activity history. If anything looks different from what you expected, our help centre has a short checklist.

The update is available to all current plans without an additional charge. We will keep notes on any follow-up changes on this page rather than silently changing the described behaviour.
